Our commitment is to provide exceptional service and build lasting relationships with our customers.\nThe Service and Aftersales department is vital part of success for our business, within which we have an exciting opportunity to expand our team of Parts Advisors.\nAs an Apprentice Parts Advisor you will be teamed up with an experienced Parts Advisor who you'll work closely with day to day and you'll be learning tasks on the job, while achieving a nationally recognized qualification. Through Remit/Inspiro training, you will achieve SCQF Level 6 in Vehicle Parts Operations. Lasting 3 years, this course is 100% workplace based, with a assessor visits every 8-10 weeks. \nThis is an excellent entry-level opportunity, ideal for individuals starting their career and eager to learn on the job. The desired outcome is the Apprentice Parts Advisor becomes a valued member of our established and successful parts team.\n\nYour duties will vary from day to day and could include:\nAssist customers in identifying and sourcing vehicle parts efficiently - face-to-face, online and via telephone.\nManage the order and return of parts stock with timeliness and accuracy.\nIdentify, source and allocate vehicle parts.\nProcess payment transactions â cash, card, and account sales.\nWarehousing duties are also required - picking orders, putting stock away, general housekeeping.\nCollaborate with technicians and other staff to ensure smooth operations.\nContribute to a positive team environment focused on customer satisfaction.\nSolving customer and workshop problems/enquires and following these up to a point of conclusion i.e. solve customer issues in a timely and professional manner.\nKeep up-to-date with product knowledge and industry best practices. Stock Control - Receive, identify, store, and issue parts accurately using internal systems.\nOrder Handling - Process orders, payments, and returns with accuracy and efficiency.\nCustomer Service - Support customers and colleagues by solving queries and sourcing the right components. \nBusiness Skills - Build confidence in communication, teamwork, IT systems and day-to-day administration.\nSafety and Processes - follow essential health, safety, and security procedures in a Parts environment.\nYou will gain the confidence and competence to excel in modern vehicle parts operations. Gained, or be working towards, National 4/5 A-C in Maths, English and Technical subject.\nNo prior industry experience required as full support, development and training will be provided.\nA keen interest in the automotive industry would be an asset.\nEffective communication is required for working alongside colleagues and speaking to customers.\nBeing flexible and adaptable, open to learning new things in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.\nTaking ownership of duties and responsibilities of the role, with a strong commitment to personal and professional growth. \nDrivers license would be beneficial but not essential.
