These roles will be mainly home based with travel (as required) across the county and to the Lincoln Office. About the Role Having developed a brand-new 24/7 AMHP service in 2022, the AMHP Team Manager will have the opportunity to work closely with partners to shape what this service will look like, now and into the future. Working under the guidance of the Area Manager, you will be responsible for providing day to day leadership and support to practitioners working within the service ensuring sustainability, review, and improvement to meet the statutory requirements of the service. Our AMHPs tell us that: “ There is no better reward than to know you have supported, and in some situations, possibly helped to save someone's life. ” A key objective of our new service AMHP service to ensure that our practitioners feel valued and supported in their role, so you will work with colleagues in our Workforce Development and Practice Development teams to oversee the development and implementation of a dedicated workforce plan for AMHPs and use quality assurance frameworks to drive improvements. You will coach, motivate, and lead the team, helping them to manage the day-to-day challenges of the role. At times, you will be required to work outside normal office working hours, to provide support to staff working different hours, and to provide on call support on a rota basis. About You You must be a qualified AMHP, so, you must be a registered social worker, mental health nurse, LD nurse, occupational therapist, or clinical psychologists who has successfully completed accredited post qualification training as an Approved Mental Health professional. You will be a confident leader and decision maker ideally with previous experience of managing a team. We’re looking for AMHP Team Managers who are focussed on high quality service delivery, customer care and who are experienced in service improvement.
