Elevation Recruitment Group is delighted to be exclusively partnering with a highly successful, market-leading manufacturing business in Mansfield to recruit an experienced and forward-thinking Operations Director .
You will take full operational leadership of the company’s manufacturing activities, driving excellence, lead and empower high performing teams. This is a critical strategic role focused on supporting future growth while maintaining outstanding operational performance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead all operational areas
* Managing growth across international operations
* Ensure delivery of quality products on time and to budget, while continuously improving efficiency
* Manage a range of manufacturing processes, including complex assembly and multi-stage production
* Implementing effective production workflows to boost productivity and minimise waste
* Build and lead high-performing teams, instilling a culture of accountability, safety, zero-defect mindset and continuous improvement
What you'll need:
* Must have experience in leading operations within a successful manufacturing business with 100+ FTEs and T/O in excess of £10m
* Experience of a range of mechanical production processes including complex assembly
* Demonstrable experience of implementing Lean/CI methodologies
* Commercially astute with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
* Strategic thinker with strong leadership, people management
* Comfortable in a hands-on leadership role within a fast-paced, quality-driven environment.
