Self-employed Estate Planning Consultant

Candidates should live within an hour and a half commute of London, Bristol, Essex, Oxford, Reading, Hertfordshire, Kent, Norwich, Ipswich, Surrey, Birmingham, Coventry, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Swansea, or Cardiff.
We're seeking experienced estate planning consultants to cover various locations across the UK. Our fast-growing business has high demand for our services, driven by our customer-first approach and strong brand presence. If you possess the necessary skills, we offer a fantastic opportunity to work with our industry-leading team.
In this role, you'll discuss the benefits of our products and services with potential customers, helping them make informed legal planning decisions. Up-to-date experience and knowledge of key legal principles are required. As a self-employed consultant, you'll have the flexibility to manage your workload. Client appointments are primarily conducted via video calls (national) and home visits (local).
Responsibilities include:
1. Attend appointments generated by the company
2. Generate referrals and self-source at least 50% of new business
3. Discuss estate planning and legal services products including Wills, LPAs, Trusts, and probate services
4. Work with Co-op Legal Services, an SRA-regulated business, to draft legal documents
5. Deliver talks and seminars to community groups on legal products and services
6. Work closely with clients to identify needs and take accurate instructions
7. Use our Estate Planning Assistant software to record customer instructions
Ideal candidates will have:
1. Proven estate planning or will writing experience, trained to IPW or SWW standards, or legal qualification through CILEX
2. Excellent interpersonal skills, empathetic nature, and ability to identify customer needs
3. Ability to communicate complex legal information clearly
4. Confidence in presentations and engaging audiences
5. Negotiation and influencing skills, enthusiasm for our products
6. IT literacy with Microsoft Office and adaptability to custom software
7. A full UK driver’s license and access to a vehicle
