About the Role
We are currently seeking enthusiastic Nursery Practitioners and Nursery Assistants for ad hoc cover work in local nurseries. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience, work flexibly, and make a difference in the lives of young children.
As this is a flexible position, you choose the days you\'re available — perfect for those with other commitments or looking to supplement existing work.
Nursery Practitioner Responsibilities (Level 2/3)
* Provide a safe, stimulating, and caring environment for children aged 0-5
* Support children\'s development through engaging activities
* Follow safeguarding, EYFS, and health & safety procedures
* Work effectively with staff and parents
* Maintain accurate records of children\'s progress
Requirements — Nursery Practitioner
* Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification
* Up-to-date Enhanced DBS (or willing to obtain)
* Experience in a nursery or early years setting
Nursery Assistant Responsibilities (Unqualified/Entry Level)
* Assist with daily routines, play, and learning activities
* Support qualified staff in delivering high-quality childcare
* Ensure a clean, safe, and happy environment
* Build positive relationships with children and staff
Requirements — Nursery Assistant
* Passion for working with children
* Some childcare experience (formal or informal) preferred
* Enhanced DBS (or willing to obtain)
