We’re Hiring: Account Manager – Clinical Research (CRO Experience Essential)

I’m currently working with a leading Contract Research Organization (CRO) that’s looking to hire an experienced Account Manager to join their commercial team. This is a remote role, open to candidates based in the UK, and would suit someone with a strong background in clinical trials and client relationship management within a CRO environment.
The Role
This is a client-facing, strategic position focused on managing and growing key accounts within the biotech and pharmaceutical sector. You’ll act as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring that projects run smoothly and that opportunities for account growth are identified and pursued.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
* Manage and nurture client relationships across multiple accounts.
* Ensure smooth delivery of clinical trial services and act as a point of escalation when needed.
* Work closely with internal clinical project teams to align with client objectives.
* Identify and develop upsell/cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts.
* Support commercial teams in contract negotiations and proposal development.
What We’re Looking For
* Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in an Account Manager or similar client-facing role within a CRO (Contract Research Organization).
* Strong understanding of clinical trial lifecycle and CRO service models.
* Proven ability to manage multiple accounts or projects simultaneously.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
* Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
* UK-based, with the right to work in the UK.
