The Senior Building Surveyor/Principal Building Surveyor job itself where you will independently lead projects from client briefing through to completion, primarily within the education sector. Projects range from classroom refurbishments to new-build classroom blocks and extensions from £20K - £1M. You will enjoy the autonomy to manage your work, alongside the support of an experienced and approachable team. More specifically:
1. Manage projects from feasibility studies through to completion.
2. Prepare detailed designs, specifications, and tender documentation.
3. Line manage Building Surveyor/s.
4. Administer contracts such as JCT and oversee contract management.
5. Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to team development.
6. Work independently on smaller projects and collaboratively on larger ones.
7. Maintain strong client relationships, ensuring projects meet expectations.
