Your Role
As the Livestock Territory Manager, you will be the driving force behind our sales products and services in a defined territory across North America. This is a field-based position covering West Virginia, Virginia, Kentucky, Tennessee, and North Carolina. You’ll work closely with our Livestock Field Sales Team to elevate our market presence and foster strong relationships.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive Sales: Generate revenue through Neogen products and solutions while building lasting relationships with customers and industry influencers.
* Meet Targets: Achieve or exceed your assigned sales budget for products and customers in your territory.
* Strategize: Develop actionable sales plans to capture business opportunities within the livestock market.
* Customer Engagement: Maintain regular communication with existing customers to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
* Market Knowledge: Cultivate a deep understanding of your customers’ goals and challenges.
* Industry Representation: Attend trade shows and meetings to promote our products and gather competitive insights.
* Stay Informed: Read industry publications to keep up with trends and share valuable insights with the team.
* Budget Management: Participate in the annual budgeting process and control expenditures to meet budgetary requirements.
* Sales Reporting: Compile records and report on sales activities using CRM/Salesforce.
* Collaborate: Work with the commercial team to ensure accurate sales forecasting and execute approved marketing programs.
* Continuous Improvement: Propose suggestions to enhance effectiveness and product quality.
* Additional Tasks: Complete other assigned tasks in a timely manner as requested by management.
What You Bring
* Education: Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, Ag Business, or a related field.
* Experience: A minimum of 4 years of sales experience is preferred.
