Our Blue Flame Accredited Gas Centre delivers Gas Safe qualifications alongside our apprenticeship provision, supported by modern workshops, state‑of‑the‑art equipment, and industry‑standard materials. You'll be joining a small, enthusiastic, and highly committed team that genuinely understands the industry and the skills employers value most. Key Responsibilities: Deliver practical and theory‑based training to level 3 apprentices in classrooms and workshops. Support learners to develop essential workplace behaviours, including punctuality, teamwork, and effective communication. Carry out training/assessments in the workplace to ensure competence and progress. Contribute to a positive, professional learning environment that mirrors real‑world industry standards. Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high‑quality provision and learner outcomes. Skills and Experience We welcome applications from both experienced industry professionals and qualified lecturers. Essential: Qualified to a Level 3 NVQ / Diploma in Plumbing and Domestic Heating (e.g. City & Guilds 8202, 6189, 9289 or equivalent). Significant industry experience in Plumbing/Gas trades. Strong practical skills and up‑to‑date industry knowledge. Enthusiasm for developing others and sharing professional expertise. A passion for teaching the next generation of plumbing and gas trade professionals. Desirable: Experience teaching in a post-16 college environment.
