Overview
Looking for a Driver Manager for our Eastbourne Depot.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage a designated group of drivers to deliver a high performing workforce in line with GTR’s safety, performance, and customer service standards.
* Act as a highly visible, people-focused manager driving improved employee engagement and results.
* Line management of drivers including conduct of individual performance reviews, briefings, welfare, disciplinary, grievance and poor performance matters.
* Implement customer service standards that change culture and raise the professionalism of drivers across GTR.
* Develop a first-class customer service environment that delivers excellent service to customers.
* Enhance the onboard experience for customers to drive repeat business and higher satisfaction results.
* Drive team performance through excellent engagement and use the attendance procedure, improving performance, individual grievance handling, and disciplinary procedures as appropriate to ensure fair treatment and improved performance.
Qualifications and Skills
* Strong people leadership skills.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire teams.
* Developing and maintaining a professional relationship with Trade Union Representatives.
* Effective oral and written communication skills.
