Job Purpose
The Global Technical Sales Manager for Practice Management Software, as part of the Enterprise Solutions Team, is responsible for comprehensive technical concepts in the area of cloud-based Practice Management Software and value-adding software services for different customer segments of the Straumann group. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science or a related technical field, coupled with a passion for sales and customer engagement. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise and sales acumen to effectively communicate the value of our software solutions to potential clients.
Responsibilities include creating solid technical concepts, deployment, security requirements, and contributing to the sales process of larger global software projects. The person will work with development partners, the global practice management software team, and local organizations to establish scalable end-to-end software delivery, implementation, and rollout.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
* Develop and execute a framework for comprehensive technical concepts and integration requirements, adhering to enterprise security standards for practice management and business intelligence software solutions in the dental industry.
* Provide technical support during sales and requirement qualification processes for regional and country organizations, especially for larger IT software projects involving more than 15 practices.
* Coordinate project partners on customer and company sides to ensure technical concepts are realized during implementation.
* Participate in global marketing and sales activities, including creating reference projects, customer visits, and collateral creation.
Education and Work Experience
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
* Experience in technical, cloud-based software sales, security concepts, and IT integration in medical or dental enterprise settings.
* Experience managing complex end-to-end software implementation projects.
* Knowledge of healthcare standards like IHE, DICOM, HL7, FHIR, and cloud/SaaS requirements.
* Strong quality awareness, customer focus, and experience working in a global matrix organization.
