As a Finance Assistant, you will support the finance process through processing invoices onto various systems, including any analysis and ensuring timely resolution of any queries. This will include the generation and distribution of control reports and telephone liaison with company staff and external suppliers. To work closely with the Finance Team to ensure accurate entries into the accounts. Ensuring financial reporting objectives are met within deadlines, without compromising quality or control of costs. Reconciling Tray & Pallet stock movements including internal & external movements and associated reporting. Coordinate, reconcile and agree Tray Stocks with Customer Auditors Transport Reconciliation including PO management and reporting. External Cold store reconciliation, resolving stock queries and reporting. General Office Admin duties and any other duties as required by Finance Manager and Financial Controller To produce ad-hoc reports as requested. Current experience of Payroll is essential, with exposure to weekly payroll an advantage. Strong IT skills and proficiency with MS Office Applications, in particular MS Excel. Excellent interpersonal, organisational, time management and attention to detail skills. Experience of Stock Control within a manufacturing/food production environment.
