In this role, you will work collaboratively with families, colleagues, and external agencies to ensure that children’s needs are met and their rights are upheld.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Conducting assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
* Developing and implementing effective intervention plans based on assessments.
* Providing ongoing support and guidance to families to promote positive change.
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with statutory requirements.
* Collaborating with other professionals and agencies to ensure comprehensive support for families.
* Participating in team meetings and supervision sessions to enhance service delivery.
To be considered for this position, you must hold a relevant social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent) and be registered with Social Work England. Additionally, you should possess:
* Strong knowledge of child protection legislation and safeguarding practices.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
* Proven experience in working with children and families in a social work setting.
* Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
