We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Band 7 Locum Paediatric Dietitian to join our dynamic team at Elysium Healthcare – Rhodes Wood Hospital. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive environment, providing specialized dietetic services to children and young people aged 8-18 years within an inpatient eating disorder service. Responsibilities:
As a Band 7 Locum Paediatric Dietitian, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive dietetic assessments and interventions for children and young people with eating disorders. You will develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic approach to patient care. Your role will involve monitoring and evaluating patient progress, providing education and support to patients and their families, and contributing to service development. Additionally, you will be expected to maintain accurate patient records and participate in continuing professional development activities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Qualifications and Experiences:
Degree in Dietetics or Nutrition
HCPC registration
Significant experience in paediatric dietetics
Experience working with eating disorders in a clinical setting
Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Commitment to continuous professional development
Previous experience in a similar locum role is desirable
