As a PCB Assembler Production Technician, you will play a pivotal role in assembling their innovative solutions, ensuring top-notch quality and adherence to specifications. Working Hours: our client has a flexitime model over the 5 day working week which consists of: Start Work Between 6:00am/8:30am - Monday/Friday Finish Work Between 2:00pm/4:30pm - Monday/Thursday Finish Work Between 2:00pm/3:00pm - Friday 37.5 Hours Must be Completed by the end of the week. Main Responsibilities: Your main responsibilities include: Quality Assembly: Building jobs to precise specifications, maintaining the highest standards of quality throughout the assembly process. Job Tracking: Booking jobs through the production process, ensuring efficient workflow and proper documentation. Timely Completion: Completing jobs within specified timelines as per the Works Instruction despatch dates. Workspace Organization: Maintaining a clean, tidy, and efficient working area to uphold safety and productivity standards. Feedback and Improvement: Raising Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and providing valuable feedback to the Cell Manager to drive continuous improvement. Innovation and Ideas: Actively seeking out opportunities for process improvement and suggesting ideas to enhance production efficiency to the Cell Manager. Skills Development: Demonstrating proactiveness and flexibility in developing new skills through cross-cell training, allowing you to excel in diverse manufacturing tasks. Soldering Expertise: Proficiency in through-hole, discreet assembly with the ability to solder to a high standard is essential for producing reliable and durable electronic assemblies. Adaptability: Operating in a low volume, high-mix production environment requires versatility and the ability to handle various tasks with a focus on quality rather than a traditional production line mentality.
