Our client is leading service provider to the publishing industry, they are looking for an Arabic speaking Production Coordinator with strong technical and customer facing skills to join our UK team. This brand-new role is critical to supporting publishers in the Middle East region, working closely with our growing print facility in the Middle East. This is a UK based role, and can be based in their London office, or Buckinghamshire offices 4 days a week (with 1 day working from home) paying circa. £36k (+/-).
The Production Coordinator will provide technical assistance to publishers, ensuring their digital files are prepared correctly for print on demand production. This includes testing, manipulating, and validating files to meet required standards, as well as troubleshooting and guiding customers through adjustments. Acting as a bridge between publishers, client services, sales, and operations, you'll focus on workflow efficiencies, complex fixes, and clear communication.
Key responsibilities will include:
·Liaise with publishers in the Middle East to prepare and adjust book files for production.
·Review, validate, and manipulate digital files (PDF, InDesign, Photoshop) to meet compliance standards.
·Provide technical support and guidance to customers on file submissions and adjustments.
·Collaborate with UK and international teams to ensure smooth onboarding and integration of publisher content.
·Contribute to workflow improvements and creative solutions for technical challenges.
The successful candidate will have Arabic language skills (written and speaking) and strong technical background with Adobe InDesign and Photoshop. Ideally with experience in typesetting, pre-media, or creative media production. Excellent communication skills are essential, with the ability to work cross culturally and build strong relationships with clients in the Middle East.
