Clinical Coordinator NHS Borders Vaccination Service
Location: NHS Borders
Band: Band 6
Hours: 32 hrs over 4 days generally Mon‑Fri
About The Role
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Clinical Coordinator to join the Vaccination Service, playing a key role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care. This post offers an exciting opportunity to support the leading nursing immunisation team and co‑ordinate the delivery of vaccination programmes across the Scottish Borders. The successful candidate will work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams, demonstrating professionalism, compassion, and a strong commitment to evidence-based practice. The successful candidate will also have some line‑management responsibility for vaccination staff and provide clinical supervision to vaccinators regularly.
Requirements
* First level registered nurse
* Experience of vaccination delivery
* Experience working in a community or multidisciplinary setting
* Strong communication, organisational, and decision‑making skills
* A commitment to continuous improvement and compassionate leadership
