We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee a long‑term planned works programme across Yorkshire, focusing on kitchen refurbishments, bathroom upgrades, and void property works. Key Responsibilities
Contract & Project Management
* Lead and manage planned works programmes including kitchens, bathrooms, and void refurbishments.
* Ensure all works are delivered on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.
* Oversee day‑to‑day operations, ensuring smooth coordination between site teams, subcontractors, and internal departments.
* Monitor progress against KPIs and contractual obligations.
Surveying & Technical Oversight
* Carry out pre‑ and post‑works surveys as required.
* Identify scope, specifications, and any variations needed.
* Ensure compliance with social housing standards and relevant regulations.
Client & Stakeholder Management
* Maintain strong working relationships with clients, residents, and internal teams.
* Provide clear communication, updates, and reporting throughout the programme.
* Act as a trusted point of contact for all contract‑related matters.
Health & Safety
* Ensure all works are delivered in line with Health & Safety legislation and company policies.
* Conduct site audits, risk assessments, and ensure safe working practices are consistently followed.
Financial & Performance Control
* Manage budgets, cost control, and forecasting for the planned works programme.
* Review performance data and implement improvements where required.
* Ensure efficient use of labour, materials, and resources.
Skills & Experience Required
* Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or Surveyor within social housing planned works.
* Strong knowledge of kitchen, bathroom, and void refurbishment processes.
* Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
* Ability to manage budgets, KPIs, and long‑term programmes.
* Strong communication and client‑facing abilities.
* Solid understanding of Health & Safety requirements.
