Job Overview
As a Senior Project Manager, you'll oversee high-impact design and construction programmes within the Wastewater Network Developer Service Delivery team, managing a budget of £100-200m across a 5-year AMP cycle. Your role involves ensuring projects meet developer requirements, network capital maintenance, and environmental outcomes, while managing growth and maintenance schemes.
Responsibilities
1. Lead the Wastewater Network Developer Service Delivery team, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
2. Provide leadership to the Wastewater Capital Delivery teams responsible for network growth and maintenance.
3. Drive continuous improvement in programme delivery, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
4. Manage stakeholder relationships, ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
5. Oversee financial forecasting, risk management, and performance reporting of infrastructure projects.
About You
* Extensive experience in infrastructure program and project delivery, especially in water or utilities sectors.
* Proven experience in designing and building contracts.
* Leadership skills to manage multidisciplinary teams with delegation and problem-solving abilities.
* Degree in Science, Engineering, Management, or equivalent; Chartered status or working towards it is desirable.
* Certifications: APM Project Professional Qualification, Managing Successful Programmes Practitioner, NEC for Project Managers.
