An exciting opportunity has arisen for an administrator to join our Academic Quality Unit at the University of Worcester.
The Academic Quality Unit (AQU) is a dynamic team which proactively provides compliance and standards oversight, fosters continuous improvement, and offers expert advice to maintain and enhance the University’s academic quality to meet the evolving needs of the organisation.
As an Academic Quality Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the effective delivery of the Unit’s work, providing professional and efficient administrative support to help ensure the smooth running of the team’s operations.
In this role, you will assist with a wide range of activities across the team. You will help organise and support meetings and events, preparing and circulating papers, maintaining records and databases, and helping to produce reports. You will liaise with colleagues across the University and external stakeholders, ensuring the smooth exchange of information and documentation. The role also involves supporting the team with financial and administrative processes such as booking travel, raising purchase orders, processing expenses, and assisting with the maintenance of internal webpages and systems.
You will need to be well-organised and able to manage your workload effectively. Good IT skills and the ability to communicate clearly and professionally are essential, along with a positive and supportive approach to working as part of a team.
