What We Offer
* Competitive base salary of £40,178, with on‑target earnings up to £52,000.
* Guaranteed overtime option to increase your base salary to £44,385, plus additional overtime and bonus opportunities.
* Full‑time 40 hours per week, Monday to Saturday available with core hours 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. Saturday work 1 in 4 weeks.
Where You’ll Work
You’ll be part of the Bournemouth cluster, covering Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch, Wimborne, Ringwood, Wareham and Swanage. You’ll work on a scheduled list of appointments in your local area, with a fully equipped RAC van, fuel card, uniform, full tool set and advanced diagnostics.
Responsibilities
* Carry out routine servicing.
* Diagnostics using mobile equipment.
* In‑depth repairs normally performed in a workshop.
* Provide member advice and recommendations based on inspection.
* Conduct vehicle safety checks aligned to RAC standards.
Qualifications
* Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent).
* Minimum 2 years’ experience as a vehicle technician working on light vehicles.
* Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.
