Meridian Business Support is proud to represent a prestigious College in Wales, currently seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Assessor to join their team. As an Assessor of Electrical Engineering, you will play a vital role in developing and delivering work-based training and assessment programmes within the field of electrical engineering.

Full-time, Monday to Friday (37 hours per week)
Salary:
£31,287 - £33,405 per annum

Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and deliver work-based training and assessment programmes in electrical engineering.
* Cultivate new local and regional business relationships to expand work-based learning activities.
* Maintain a personal caseload in line with business objectives.
* Work under the direction of the electrical engineering coordinator.
* Promote the College's strategic plan and values, driving change and enterprise.
* Conduct health and safety pre-placement audits and ongoing workplace monitoring.
* Participate in recruitment, initial assessment, and induction processes.
* Monitor learner progress and performance to ensure targets are met.
* Participate in internal verification processes within your area of expertise.
* Ensure learners are registered for appropriate qualifications and complete them within allocated timeframes.
Requirements:
* Appropriate Assessor qualification or willingness to work towards one.
* Appropriate Verifier qualification or willingness to work towards one.
* Evidence of Continuous Professional Development.
* Experience in teaching, training, or assessing in a relevant discipline.
* Level 1 Welsh language skills or willingness to complete required training.
* Proven track record of working in a relevant industry.
* Minimum Level 3 qualification in a relevant discipline.
