Role: 1-1 Teaching Assistant Location: Eastleigh Working Hours: Full-time (8:30am – 3:30pm) Start Date: ASAP About the School & Role: Based in Southampton, we are working with a school who provide academic, therapeutic and alternative education solutions to pupils who are struggling with their education. Often our children are with them for a short two term support program. They are given support, guidance and strategies to succeed in mainstream education. This alternative provision caters to secondary students with social, emotional, and mental health challenges, including those displaying challenging behaviours. The successful Teaching Assistant will work either 1-1 or within small groups to support both academic progress and emotional wellbeing, helping students overcome barriers to learning.
