Here in Manchester, we’ve been producing P&G products at our Trafford Park site for the past 90 years and, following exciting new investment, we’re looking to recruit motivated technicians to join our Pampers manufacturing team.

Job Description
Technicians will join a multi‑skilled team responsible for operating, maintaining, daily running and troubleshooting complex process technologies on our production lines. They contribute to producing high‑quality branded products that improve the lives of consumers. The plant operates 24 hours a day and our technicians work a 12.5‑hour shift pattern, including days and nights.

What We Offer You
* Competitive Salary – starting pay with shift premium of £38,588.68 (5‑day shift) or £42,280.68 (7‑day shift); Level 2.1 pay with shift premium of £40,876.68 (5‑day shift) or £44,568.68 (7‑day shift).

* Generous Pension – the Company will contribute double the amount you contribute towards your pension savings, up to a maximum company contribution of 14% of your pensionable pay.

* 1‑4‑1 Shares – for every share you purchase, the Company will purchase one on your behalf. Up to 2.5% of your salary (max £150/month) can be contributed.

Job Qualifications
* Proven practical background applying process, operational, or mechanical skills to solve production and equipment‑related losses.
* High level of personal accountability and ownership for results, with leadership potential and willingness to accept challenging tasks.
* Ability to suggest and implement changes that improve systems, work processes and equipment reliability.
* Strong team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross‑shift and cross‑function interaction.
* Capable of making maximum contribution with minimum supervision.
* Desire for a challenging career rather than just a job.
