We're looking for a proactive Paralegal to join our busy in-house legal team. What you'll be doing
As part of our collaborative team, you'll:
* Support our qualified lawyers with legal research, document drafting and reviewing correspondence across diverse practice areas.
* Take ownership of legal queries, resolving matters independently where appropriate, and under the guidance of the team's qualified lawyers.
* Provide essential administrative support, managing the legal inbox and diary, raising purchase orders, assisting with litigation, and coordinating supplier invoices.
* Help drive improved knowledge-sharing through drafting FAQs, bulletins and legal updates.
* Keep the team future focused through horizon scanning and producing case digests.
* Drive efficiency by digitising records and helping to streamline legal team processes.
* Manage the Company's contract signing process and ensure accurate, well-organised records.
What we're looking for
* A 2:1 law degree (or equivalent) and completion of the LPC (or equivalent).
* Ideally, some experience in a legal or professional services environment.
* Excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills.
* A collaborative team player who thrives under pressure and takes initiative.
* Confidence with IT systems, especially MS Office.
* We'll need you to be on site in Hatfield 2 – 3 days a week.
