Assistant Psychologist - CAMHS MID ICA

Job summary
We are looking for a motivated Assistant Psychologist to join our CAMHS Multi-Disciplinary Team. Your work will support clinical staff and deliver psychological interventions that help young people and families achieve positive mental health outcomes.
Responsibilities
* Deliver and support individual and group interventions.
* Carry out psychological assessments and wellbeing calls to ensure young people feel safe and supported.
* Collaborate with the MDT, providing formulations and staff support.
* Coordinate and analyse outcome measures to track progress.
* Contribute to audits and research shaping evidence-based practice.
* Work under the supervision of a qualified psychologist with development opportunities.
Key requirements
* Psychology Degree accredited by the British Psychological Society.
* Eligibility for graduate membership of the British Psychological Society.
* Experience of working with people with mental health difficulties.
Successful applicants must be eligible for registration with the British Psychological Society and will be required to work towards registration with the BPS Wider Psychological Workforce Register once in post.
Desirable
* Experience carrying out basic psychometric tests (e.g., cognitive screens).
* Experience as an Assistant Psychologist or similar role.
* Experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Skills and Aptitude
* Capacity to communicate condition-related information to clients and relatives in an emotive atmosphere.
