About the Role
As a Workshop Controller, you’ll take charge of the day-to-day operations within our busy bodyshop. You’ll lead a talented team of technicians, manage job allocation and workflow, and ensure repairs are completed on time, every time, to the highest standards. Working closely with front-of-house and VDA teams, you’ll be the operational heartbeat of the workshop.
Key Responsibilities

20. Support, mentor, and develop workshop staff to foster continuous improvement
21. Assist the VDA team with damage assessments and repair planning
About You
You’ll have a solid background in accident repair—whether as an MET, Panel, or Paint Technician, or in a VDA role—and ideally bring some supervisory or workshop coordination experience. You’re hands-on, calm under pressure, and passionate about delivering high-quality results.
You’ll bring:
22. A strong technical understanding of repair processes and diagnostics
23. The ability to lead, motivate, and manage a workshop team effectively
24. Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills
25. Familiarity with workshop systems; Audatex knowledge is a bonus
26. A thorough understanding of health and safety best practices
27. A proactive mindset and commitment to teamwork
28. A full UK driving licence

30. Opportunities for ongoing training and career development
31. Access to the latest tools, equipment, and repair technology
32. A modern, supportive working environment
33. Employee wellbeing and reward initiatives
