A leading Tier 1 contractor is looking for a freelance Design Manager to join a major commercial development in Middlesbrough, starting
Immediately. You'll work closely with the Senior Design Manager, supporting design coordination and delivery across multiple packages.Key Details
* Start: Immediate
* Location: Middlesbrough/Darlington area (site-based) with flexible working available
* Contract: 2 to 3 months initially but with opportunity to go longer
* Rate: Competitive day rate
Experience Required
* Proven track record in design management on large-scale commercial or mixed-use projects
* Experience working with Tier 1/tier 2 main contractors
* Strong understanding of UK building regulations, technical design, and consultant coordination
* Background in architecture, engineering, or construction management
* Confident in managing design deliverables and working within fast-paced project environments.
