Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust (HDFT) is excited to offer a rare and rewarding opportunity to join the innovative Active Against Cancer service as a Service Admin Assistant. You will play a vital role in supporting the team with administration duties and work closely with the AAC Care Co-ordinator to ensure patients are enrolled in AAC classes and their attendance is accurately recorded.

Main duties of the job
Active Against Cancer is a unique and cutting-edge service that helps cancer patients improve their physical activity levels to reduce fatigue, anxiety, depression, and improve recovery outcomes. You will work alongside a diverse group of people, including patients, physical trainers, HSFC staff, volunteers, and fundraisers, contributing directly to enhancing patient care and wellbeing.
* Provide administration support to the AAC team
* Work closely with the AAC Care Co-ordinator to manage patient enrolment and attendance
* Communicate effectively with patients and team members
* Support the smooth delivery of the AAC service

* 5 GCSEs or equivalent
* NVQ Level 2/3 in administration or equivalent experience
* At least 1 years\' experience in a setting relevant to this post
* Evidence of continued professional development
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office in particular Excel
* Experience of working within the field of sports and leisure
* Experience of working with both individuals and groups
* Experience working in the NHS or other relevant health care setting
