Chemistry Department
You’ll join a dynamic Chemistry faculty delivering excellence across KS3 and KS4. The department features modern laboratories, digital sensors, chemistry-specific resources, and technicians on site, all contributing to high standards of practical science.
Your Role
Plan and teach the Chemistry curriculum; embed practical work in lessons using guided investigations; differentiate to support learner progress; take part in science enrichment; and follow a comprehensive ECT programme with termly observations, reflective coaching, and subject-specific professional development.
Ideal Candidate
You hold a Chemistry degree and will complete QTS by July 2025. You embrace problem-solving and encourage curiosity, with solid classroom management and scientific rigour. You work well in a team, seeking improvement and innovation in teaching.
