Location: Hybrid – 2 days per week in Manchester, Leeds, or Newcastle

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Security Business Analyst to join us on a 12-month FTC, supporting a key central government client. This role will play a critical part in supporting the post go-live service design, testing, and transition of Security Architecture and Security Management & Assurance service lines. You will work closely with security, architecture, and delivery teams to ensure services are robust, compliant, and fully operational.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the development of detailed service design documentation, including processes, procedures, operating models, and performance measures
* Assist in defining and documenting: Security architecture principles, standards, and governance frameworks
* Access control models (e.g. IAM, SSO, RBAC)
* Ensure alignment with regulatory and security standards (e.g. ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, Secure by Design)
* Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Operational Acceptance Testing (OAT) activities
* Contribute to service transition planning, including acceptance criteria and readiness for live service
* Work with stakeholders to ensure security services are scalable, compliant, and fit for purpose
Experience Required
* Proven experience as a Security Analyst or Business Analyst within complex environments
* Strong experience in service process mapping and requirements definition
* Knowledge of security standards and frameworks (e.g. ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, Secure by Design)
* Experience working within central government or secure environments
* Experience supporting testing phases (UAT/OAT) and service transition
Desirable:
* Experience working with large-scale Oracle ERP platforms
* Knowledge of Oracle RBAC and RMC
