Mechanical / Electrical Maintenance Engineer Location-Wrexham Salary- £49,000 – £52,000 Benefits Shifts- 3 Shift Pattern (Monday–Friday) 25 Days Holiday 8 Bank Holidays The Opportunity We are currently recruiting for a skilled Mechanical or Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established and highly invested manufacturing site in Wrexham. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a modern, automated environment with significant ongoing investment in machinery, technology, and site improvements. You'll be working with advanced manufacturing systems including robotics, automated production lines, and end-of-line packaging machinery. The Role As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring production equipment runs efficiently and reliably. Key responsibilities include: Planned and reactive maintenance on automated manufacturing equipment Fault finding on mechanical and/or electrical systems Working on robotics, automated machinery, and end-of-line packaging equipment Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site Ensuring minimal downtime and maintaining production efficiency Working collaboratively with production and engineering teams Requirements To be considered for this role, you should have: NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline A strong track record within a manufacturing or automated production environment Experience with automated machinery, robotics, or packaging equipment (desirable) Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities A proactive, hard-working attitude and good reliability What's on Offer 25 days holiday 8 bank holidays Modern manufacturing facility with significant investment in automation and machinery Stable and growing business with long-term opportunities If you're a motivated engineer looking to work with modern automated machinery in a forward-thinking environment, we'd love to hear from you.
