Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dental team. The successful candidate will be required to cover a 12 month maternity Leave role with the potential of this role of becoming a permanent role. The individual will play a vital role in supporting dentists during patient treatments, ensuring a high standard of patient care and maintaining smooth clinical operations.

Duties
* Assisting dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including preparing instruments and materials
* Providing excellent patient care by explaining procedures and addressing patient concerns
* Ensuring the cleanliness and sterilisation of dental instruments and equipment in accordance with health and safety standards
* Managing patient records accurately using IT systems and maintaining organised appointment schedules
* Supporting patients before, during, and after treatment to ensure comfort and reassurance
* Maintaining the clinical area in a tidy, organised manner to promote infection control standards
* Assisting with administrative tasks such as updating patient information and managing stock levels of dental supplies
* Communicating effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless service delivery
Experience
* Previous experience as a Dental Nurse Preferred or a Experienced Trainee Dental Nurse will be considered.
* Knowledge of patient care procedures within a dental setting is advantageous
* Proficiency in IT systems relevant to dental practice management is preferred
* Strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction with patients and team members
* Organisational skills are important for managing multiple tasks efficiently and maintaining accurate records
* A caring attitude combined with professionalism is vital to providing outstanding patient support
