Cleaner Leonardslee Lakes & Gardens Lower Beeding, Horsham, West Sussex (RH13 6PP) – On-site Employment Type: Full-time or Part-time About the Role We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Cleaner to help maintain the exceptional cleanliness and presentation throughout the stunning Leonardslee Lakes & Gardens estate. In this hands-on role, you'll ensure all public and staff areas remain spotless and welcoming, playing an important part in creating memorable experiences for our visitors in this beautiful Grade I listed garden. Ideal for someone who takes real pride in their work and enjoys working in a picturesque outdoor setting. Key Responsibilities Clean and maintain high standards in public and staff areas, including outdoor spaces, corridors, offices, restrooms, and dining areas Replenish supplies to keep all areas well-stocked and inviting Perform a range of manual cleaning tasks (dusting, vacuuming, mopping, waste removal, etc.) Promptly report maintenance issues or low inventory to management Strictly follow all health & safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines at all times Interact politely and professionally with guests, responding to requests efficiently and courteously Take full ownership of cleaning standards, working independently or as part of our small team Requirements Previous cleaning experience preferred. Must be hands on and take full ownership of the sites cleaning standards Strong attention to detail and genuine pride in delivering high-quality presentation. Excellent time-management skills with the ability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a small team. Reliable, punctual, and flexible approach to working hours ( including weekends ) Maintain cleanliness, presentation and replenishing of public and staff areas such as outside areas, corridors, offices, restrooms, and dining spaces. Physically capable of manual tasks, including prolonged standing, lifting, bending, and carrying. Own transport would be advantageous due to the location. Promptly report any maintenance issues or inventory shortages to management Strictly adhere to health & safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures at all times. Provide polite, professional interactions with guests and respond to any requests efficiently and courteously.
