Veterinary Receptionist - Norwich Longwater Vets for Pets
If you enjoy providing great service and working in a team, we have the opportunity for you at our Norwich Longwater Vets for Pets.
This is a Part Time role working an average of 7.4 hours per week (1x 5.5 shifts). Shifts are between 8am and 7.30pm. The role includes 1 in 8 weekends based at our Sprowston surgery (Saturday 9am-6pm and Sunday 10.30am-4.30pm). Overtime is available. Salary rate: £10.42/hour. We are looking for someone extremely flexible who can cover multiple hours overtime each week at any of our 3 Vets for Pets surgeries. You may be asked at short notice to work at Hall Road, Sprowston or Longwater. Depending on overtime available this could result in up to 40 hours/week. Each surgery runs slightly differently, so we are looking for a candidate who is extremely adaptable and confident.
Responsibilities
* You greet each client and offer support, guidance, and expertise, managing payments and future bookings confidently.
* Coordinate the smooth running of the day-to-day routines of the practice using our online booking system; computer literacy is essential.
* Provide a link between clients and the clinical team and build strong relationships with clients, their pets, and the practice team.
* Ensure client satisfaction during visits so they look forward to their next visit.

* You can handle diverse situations, from comforting clients after bad news to celebrating a puppy’s first visit to the vet.
* Your personality is infectious and you help create a welcoming atmosphere with colleagues.
* Applicants must have customer-facing, front-of-house experience and be confident dealing with customers.
