Are you a people person with a real passion for sales? We’re looking for an ambitious and confident Maternity Cover Sales Consultant to join the team at our Shrewsbury Motorstore.
What’s the job? You’ll be known as a Product Consultant at Arnold Clark, but your role will be heavily sales focused. This isn’t just any sales job—dress codes aside, you’ll be supported to be yourself, showcase your customer service skills and enjoy every working day to the full. You’ll be with our customers every step of the way—from the moment they walk through the door to an excellent aftersales experience. The role is about helping customers find the right car and building strong, positive relationships through the process.

* Helping customers find the right car based on their needs
* Delivering outstanding, 5‑star service for every customer
* Building and maintaining lasting relationships with customers through every step of the sales process
* Selling the right sales package for the customer (finance to servicing) with integrity and professionalism
* Co‑ordinating the order and delivery of vehicles and keeping everything running smoothly
* Meeting monthly sales expectations and customer experience standards
* Working as part of a dynamic team to meet deadlines and keep promises
* Staying in touch with customers to offer a great aftersales experience
Responsibilities
* Help customers find the right car and recommend suitable options
* Deliver exceptional customer service and build lasting relationships
* Present and sell appropriate finance and servicing packages
* Coordinate vehicle orders and deliveries; ensure smooth processes
* Meet sales targets and customer experience standards
* Collaborate with the team to meet deadlines and promises
* Maintain follow-up with customers for aftersales care

* A full driving licence held for a minimum of 1 year

* On target earnings of £35,000‑£40,000 with uncapped earning potential
