We are seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join a fast-paced, dynamic property development firm. This is a remote role, based in Bury and supporting a Brighton-based company, with occasional travel (1–2 overnight trips per month) to Brighton or London—travel and accommodation expenses fully covered.

Key Responsibilities
Legal Secretary Duties
* Prepare, draft, and manage legal documentation relating to land and property acquisitions, refinances, planning applications, and property disposals
* Assist with legal due diligence, coordination of contracts, and tracking progress of transactions
* Liaise with solicitors, local authorities, consultants, and agents to facilitate smooth project execution
* Maintain accurate records of all legal files, compliance documents, and correspondence
Executive PA Duties
* Manage senior leadership diaries, scheduling, and meeting coordination
* Arrange travel and accommodation for business purposes
* Draft, format, and proofread business documents, reports, and correspondence
* Provide general administrative and organisational support across the business
* Act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
About You
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Legal Secretary, Personal Assistant, or Executive Assistant role—ideally within the property, real estate, or conveyancing sector
* Solid understanding of legal processes relating to property transactions, refinancing, and land acquisition
* Outstanding communication and organisational skills with a proactive and detail-oriented approach
* Strong Microsoft Office skills and experience working with document management systems
* Professional, trustworthy, and able to work independently
* Willing and able to travel for one to two overnight business trips per month
