Service Care Solutions are currently working alongside a growing local authority based in Greater Manchester. They are looking for a Legal Officer to join their expanding legal team.
The role is on a hybrid basis and is a 3‑month contract with potential for extension.
This role pays a competitive rate of:
* PAYE (Inc.Hol) – £22.53 – £31.31 per hour
* Umbrella – £25 – £35 per hour
Responsibilities
* Support pre‑litigation work and civil litigation as a Legal Officer/Paralegal
* Draft legal documents including pleadings, witness statements, schedules and correspondence
* Assist with costs management, billing and file closure procedures
About you
* Must have a Law degree (LLB) or equivalent legal qualification
* Draft legal documents to a high‑quality standard
* Ability to manage multiple cases and meet strict deadlines
