JOB TITLE - Learning Support Assistant (LSA)ABOUT THE SCHOOL
Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a vibrant Primary School based in East Bristol.The school has a supportive and collaborative team, with a strong focus on professional development. CPD opportunities are provided throughout the year, and depending on performance, there may be potential to extend the contract or transition into a permanent position.
CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS
* Location: East Bristol
* Position: Learning Support Assistant (Primary)
* Full-Time: Monday to Friday
* Day Rate: £90 - £110
* Hours: 8:20 am - 3:30 pm
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
* Recent Graduate or experienced LSA
* Previous experience working in a UK school (desirable)
* Up-to-date safeguarding training issued within the last year
* Experience or interest in Special Educational Needs, including:
o Autism
o Speech & Language Needs
* Strong command of English (spoken and written)
* Experience within healthcare or supporting vulnerable individuals is desirable
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
* Hold the Right to Work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for a new one
* Provide two professional, child-related references covering the last two years
