Role summary
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the expanding Communications team at St John’s College. We have ambitious plans for our communications strategy and are seeking a Digital Content Producer to build the range and quality of the digital content across our website and other digital platforms.
Duties and responsibilities
Your primary responsibility will be to create engaging and compelling digital content for publication across the St John’s College website and social media accounts. The postholder will work on content for both internal and external communications.
Essential requirements
This role will provide an excellent opportunity for someone who loves creating digital content in a dynamic environment, working with a wide variety of people and content types.
To succeed in the role you will need:
1. experience of creating digital media content, including social media, video, podcasts and websites;
2. excellent knowledge of – and demonstrable ability to use – audio and video-editing software;
3. the ability to manage a varied workload and to work flexibly across the College community;
4. excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work as part of a team;
5. first-rate project management skills.

Appointment will be at Grade 6 of the University’s salary scale for professional staff (£32,332–£38,205), depending on qualifications and experience.
