*Job Summary*
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot, carry out six weekly inspections, general servicing, brake tests, and repair various recovery vehicles and equipment. This role requires a hands-on approach, utilising both power and hand tools to maintain and assemble components effectively. The Mechanic will also be responsible for providing excellent customer service, ensuring that all repairs are completed to the highest standard.
*Duties*
* Perform routine maintenance and repairs on recovery equipment.
* Previous experience as a HGV Technician
* A full driving licence & HGV Driving Licence required
* Relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualifications (or equivalent)
* MAN/DAF/VOLVO/IVECO experience would be beneficial, but is not essential.
* Problem solver.

* Able to complete administration for safety inspection reports
*Experience*
* Proven experience in a mechanical role is preferred.
* Ability to read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot issues efficiently.
* Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in maintaining equipment.
* Previous customer service experience is advantageous, as interaction with clients may be required.
*Hours*
* 1100-2100 Monday to Friday
