Are you a brand-driven marketer who loves turning ideas into action?
Do you thrive in a fast-moving B2B environment where creativity meets commercial impact?
Do you have the commercial mindset to turn consumer and category insights into real business growth?
MacGregor Black are excited to partner with a Global Leader in the Beverage Industry to appoint a Marketing Manager – Drinks Category. This is a permanent hybrid role based in the Northampton area, playing a key role in boosting brand visibility and accelerating category growth across foodservice, hospitality, and retail channels across the UK & Ireland.
You’ll take ownership of the UK B2B marketing plan—turning insight, innovation, and storytelling into campaigns that help customers win with great-tasting beverages. From national trade shows to digital lead-generation and account-based marketing, this role is all about impact.
Key Responsibilities:
* Build and execute customer marketing plans across hospitality, foodservice and retail channels.
* Support business growth through demand-generation campaigns, sales enablement tools and digital marketing.
* Develop and deliver trade events — including activation concepting, stand experience design and pre/post event campaigns.
* Lead integrated campaigns across drinks, equipment and complementary products — seasonal campaigns, NPD launches, co-brand partnerships and more.
* Boost digital performance across owned channels including e-commerce and social media.
* Manage brand positioning, product strategy and category partnerships in the UK&I market.
* Coordinate external agencies and suppliers ensuring high-quality delivery on time and on budget.
* Own the UK marketing budget with clear reporting and performance insight.
* Lead, coach and develop a Marketing Executive.
* Champion category insights and competitive intelligence to identify whitespace opportunities.
What We're Looking For:
* A confident marketer with B2B, FMCG, foodservice or hospitality experience.
* Highly organised with proven experience managing multiple workstreams and stakeholders.
* Commercially-focused, creative and full of ideas — but always grounded in data and results.
* Skilled at writing clear briefs and evaluating creative work.
* A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
* Experienced in agency and people management.
* Knowledgeable or curious about digital marketing, including search and social.
* Motivated, proactive and comfortable travelling for events or customer activity when needed.
* Degree or CIM qualification is a plus but not essential — attitude, energy and capability matter most.
Why You Should Join...
* You’ll market one of the UK’s most loved drink categories with huge cultural relevance.
* You’ll influence real commercial outcomes — not just brand awareness.
* You’ll get to innovate, shape campaigns, and see your work come to life across the industry.
