Searcys is looking for a strategic and driven Sales and Events Manager to join our dynamic team at RICS. This role involves leading initiatives to drive revenue, elevate our brand, and foster lasting guest relationships.
As the Sales and Events Manager at RICS, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing our sales and marketing strategies. RICS is a stunning venue in our portfolio, featuring both a restaurant and events space. You will need to be agile and responsive to the venue's needs.
Located in Westminster with views of Big Ben, the Palace of Westminster, Westminster Abbey, and Parliament Square, the historic Victorian building offers an ideal setting for conferences, meetings, receptions, weddings, dinners, and seasonal events. Job Details
Hours: Full-time
Salary: £45,000 annually
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans to meet venue goals
* Lead, manage, and develop the sales and marketing team
* Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new sales opportunities
* Oversee digital marketing efforts including SEO, social media, email campaigns, and paid advertising
* Build and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders
* Monitor performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly
* Plan and coordinate promotional events and product launches, including brand collaborations
* Understand the events and restaurant markets
Qualifications:
* Passion for events and hospitality
* Ambitious with a desire to grow and develop
* Experience as a Sales Manager or Head of Sales in hospitality/events venues
* Leadership experience with proven results
* Experience in a client-facing corporate environment
* Outstanding presentation and communication skills
* Meticulous administration, coordination, and prioritization skills
* Proactive with excellent time management
