Job Specification: Credit Controller / Accounts Assistant
Hours: 9:00am – 5:30pm, Monday to Friday

About the Role:
We’re seeking a bright, organised, and customer-focused Credit Controller / Accounts Assistant to join a dynamic and supportive team within a successful insurance business. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to combine finance skills with client service excellence in an industry that values precision and integrity.
Key Responsibilities
• Monitor and manage customer accounts to ensure timely payment
• Chase outstanding debts via phone and email in a professional manner
• Allocate payments accurately and maintain financial records
• Assist with account reconciliations and monthly reporting
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve client queries
• Support wider finance team with administrative tasks and reporting
• Maintain strong relationships with external clients and stakeholders
What We’re Looking For
• Previous experience in credit control, accounts, or similar financial admin roles
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• Customer-first mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Confidence working with financial software (experience with [Insert System] is a plus)
• Enthusiastic, reliable, and able to work independently and in a team
