We are actively recruiting a proactive Tax Trainee who is passionate about making a difference to join our friendly and supportive working environment. The successful candidate will work alongside experienced tax professionals to learn the required procedures needed for a tax career with full training leading to a professional qualification and development opportunities to enhance your career. This would be the perfect role for an A-level leaver or graduate looking to start a career in taxation.
The Role:
* Assist with personal tax return preparation for various individual clients including, but not limited to, sole traders, directors and landlords
* Assist with corporation tax administrative work
* Assist with ATED returns and P11d’s
* Liaising with HMRC regarding clients’ tax affairs
* Dealing with correspondence from HMRC
* Assisting the tax team with queries and ad hoc work
* Report to the Tax Managers
Skills and Knowledge:
* Ability to work well in a team and independently
* Willingness to learn
Qualifications Essential:
* A Levels – A to C results in at least 3 A Levels
* English and Maths GCSE 9 – 7 pass minimum
Professional Development:
The successful candidate will have a varied role within the team and be provided with full training leading to a professional qualification.
