English Teacher Salary - M1 - M6 Part time or Full Time Simply Education are recruiting on behalf of a specialist school SEMH School for a dedicated English Teacher to join a supportive team working with young people who require additional support to re-engage with education and achieve their potential. As an English Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching and supporting the wider vision of the academy. You will plan and deliver engaging English lessons, monitor student progress and adapt teaching to meet individual learning needs. The role also includes supporting the wider curriculum where required and contributing to a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging English lessons that support strong student progress Monitor and assess student achievement and track progress against targets Support the development of literacy across the school Work with the SENCO to identify students who require additional support or intervention Deliver and support PSHE and RHSE programmes where required Maintain positive behaviour and create a supportive learning environment Support the mental health and wellbeing of students Contribute to the planning, organisation and development of the curriculum What We Are Looking For We are seeking a teacher who: Must be an English Teacher with QTS or QTLS Has strong subject and curriculum knowledge in English Is able to set high expectations and inspire students to achieve Demonstrates success in supporting students who may be working below expected levels Has experience working with disengaged or disconnected learners Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability within the curriculum Is committed to improving student outcomes and wellbeing Is committed to the school's focus on improving student attainment Experience of contributing to whole-school teaching and learning strategies would be advantageous Ability to inspire all in a love of learning for English Apply Now If you are a passionate English Teacher looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people, we would love to hear from you.
