RG Consultancy are pleased to be supporting an excellent organisation based in Wigan who are looking for a strong Accounts Assistant to join the team on a full time, permanent basis. This role is reporting into the Finance Manager and will be joining a team of 5 within the department.
Key Responsibilities
* Process purchase ledger and sales ledger transactions
* Responsible for all purchase ledger duties, manage and maintain the purchase ledger
* Processing invoices (including stock and overheads)
* Processing employee expenses
* Bank and credit card reconciliations
* Assist with month end journals
* Manage the accounts inbox
* Perform data entry and general administrative tasks
Person Specification
* Experience working in an SME environment is essential
* Strong organisational and administrative skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
Working Hours
* 37.5 hours per week, with flexibility on start and finish times (office based)
* 22 days holiday per year + bank holidays
