As Registered Manager, you’ll be an inspirational role model for our children and a supportive, motivating leader for your staff. This role also offers scope to grow and develop within an ambitious and forward-thinking partnership. *Day-to-Day Responsibilities* As Registered Manager, no two days will ever be the same, but here’s what you’ll be doing most often:

* Leading, motivating, and supporting your team to deliver excellent care every day.
* Making sure our home is safe, nurturing, and truly feels like a place to belong.
* Taking the lead in care planning, reviews, and working closely with social workers, schools, and other professionals.
* Ensuring the home meets Ofsted requirements and achieving positive inspection outcomes.
* Keeping on top of all the important stuff — safeguarding, health and safety, record-keeping, and compliance with legislation.
* Being a positive presence in the home: celebrating achievements, guiding through challenges, and creating opportunities for fun and growth.
* Supporting staff development through supervision, training, and performance reviews.
* Building strong relationships with external partners, families (where appropriate), and the wider community.
* Managing the home’s budget and resources effectively.
* •Leading by example — showing the team how to balance structure, consistency, and warmth in daily care.
*About the Partnership* Homes2Inspire, Somerset NHS Foundation Trust, and Somerset Council have come together to create safe, nurturing homes for children and young people in Somerset who have faced significant trauma and challenges. Our Henlade home is part of a wider development across the county, which includes children’s homes, therapeutic education, CAMHS (Child & Adolescent Mental Health Services), and high-needs foster carers. Homes2Inspire already operates over 50 homes across the UK and is known for consistently achieving high standards of care. *What You’ll Bring*

* A Level 5 qualification in Leadership & Management in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards it).
* At least two years’ recent experience in a supervisory or management role within a registered children’s home.
* A solid understanding of the legislation and Ofsted regulations that guide children’s homes.
* Strong skills in leading, supporting, and motivating a team.
* Confidence in working collaboratively with the Responsible Individual and wider strategic partners.
* A full UK driving licence.
* An enhanced DBS check (funded by Homes2Inspire).
