About the Role As our new Service Director, you will: Provide strategic leadership across adult social care, promoting independence, inclusion, and wellbeing. Drive high performance, service improvement, and quality assurance across all operational social care and housing solutions functions. Strengthen integration with health partners, the voluntary sector, and wider community resources. Lead with compassion and clarity, ensuring our workforce feel supported, empowered, and connected to our shared vision. Oversee effective safeguarding arrangements and champion the rights, safety, and dignity of adults with care and support needs. Manage complex budgets with rigour, while seeking opportunities for innovation and sustainability. Play a central role in delivering our strategic ambitions for prevention, strengths based practice, and person centred care. About You You will be a confident, credible senior leader who brings: Extensive experience in adult social care leadership within a complex organisation. A strong commitment to co-production and personalised approaches to care and support. The ability to balance strategic vision with operational grip. A record of driving improvement, cultural change, and innovation. Deep understanding of legislation, safeguarding, performance frameworks, and the national reform agenda.
