Apprenticeship Programme:
As one of our Bentley apprentices, you will combine practical experience with classroom learning to achieve a Level 6 Electrical and Electronic engineering degree. You will play a significant part in our business as we continue on this exciting journey to deliver extraordinary customer journeys. Based out of our state-of-the-art headquarters in Crewe, you will:
1. Work with experts who will support your professional and personal development
2. Be welcomed into our Early Careers Network
3. Spend 20% of your time learning with an external training provider and 80% of your time gaining hands on experience
4. Opportunity to have placements and further rotations around the business

About the role:
The Electrical and electronic engineer degree apprentice will have full exposure to how our luxury vehicles come to life. Whist working alongside and being mentored by industry leading professionals you will enhance your technical and commercial knowledge, learn the value of balancing affordability with customer experience and be able to use the experience gained from the process of design to estimate cost and evaluate the impact on decision making.
Your key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
6. Provide comparative data and predicting financial data to support the finance projects and results
7. Reporting of financial information and generate solutions to mitigate risk and realise opportunities
8. Support the negotiation process to ensure all business objectives are met in terms of cost, quality, capacity and VW Group requirements.
About the Department:
Our Material cost controlling team is part of the Finance controlling department and is at the forefront of delivering vehicle projects from a finance perspective. The team is responsible for the financial management and control of the material cost of all Bentley designed parts in line with targets and customer expectations. This involves early involvement in our product emergence process, supporting our product lines and our project finance colleagues and continues throughout the lifecycle of the products.

Warwick University:
9. GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths at grade 4/C or above
10. 112 UCAS tariff points.
11. Applicants must also hold GCSE grades in Maths, English and additional STEM subject at grades C (or 4) or above.
12. Disciplines studied post GCSE must include any of Engineering or relevant STEM subjects (Physics recommended).
13. In addition to the required entry tariff, applicants must have also achieved an A level in Maths at Grade B.
